What Makes Us Different

At Stretch Affect we look at the whole person ! Not just parts of your body that may have issues. Optimal or dysfunctinal movement patterns can make or break you. If a life free of limitations and injury sounds good to you, welcome to the program.

A Modern Approach to Movement Health

We are not a physical therapy, massage, stretching, or chiropractor office. We are not a personal training facility.

We are a premium movement health company.

The quality of movement—the way you move can have tremendous impact on alleviating pain, injury prevention, performance, and recovery.  Achieving exceptional movement health encompasses everything Stretch Affect has to offer: a full-body assessment, hands-on manual therapy, corrective exercises, and tailored fitness programming, allowing you to get out of pain and reach your maximum potential.

We go beyond the status quo to deliver exceptional results

We start with the belief that everything is connected. Often times your primary issue can stem from problems elsewhere. We don’t just accept an issue at face value. To identify the root of your issue, we’ve created an extensive full-body assessment that examines how you move and identifies any deficiencies that will guide your personalized treatment plan. Along with a physical assessment, we feel it’s important to get to know you—we spend time one-on-one getting to know your injury history, lifestyle, activities, habits, and movement goals.

Each and every time you meet with Stretch Affect, you get one-on-one time with your movement health specialist, no assistants, no self-directed training; spend time engaging, learning, and improving with your specialist. This individual attention not only propels you to get better faster, but also you begin to understand how your body should move, giving you the power to stay healthy and pain-free.

I went to Stretch Affect primarily for help with lower back, foot and neck pain. I was limiting my activity as the pain was often worse after exercise. I also knew that I needed to both strengthen and stretch various muscles and wanted to know which exercises were right for me as I wasn't getting results with what I was doing (and some I just wasn't able to do). The team at Stretch Affect was able to identify the underlying cause of my issues, assign exercises that targeted my issues and also slowly increase my activities. I am now exercising 3-5x/week  with little to no pain, and able to mitigate the pain when it occurs with the exercises they gave me.  I almost forgot the best part - the tablework - where they target and relieve tightness to relieve pain and gain mobility. Everyone is highly knowledgeable, supportive and it's a fun environment. I have since brought several family members to see them and everyone loves them. If you want to feel better, go see them!

I was referred to Stretch Affect in March of 2022 for some shoulder pain that I had been dealing with that was restricting my ability to lift weights as well as my other extra curricular activities surfing, golfing and cycling. Walking into Stretch Affect for the first time was exciting because their facilities are unique in the fact that they have top of the line equipment, music playing and most importantly the uplifting energy of Kyle, Justin, Nick and Chris is felt immediately when you walk in the door. In the first session we talked a bit about my history, why I was there and what Stretch Affect was all about. By the end of the session they had confidently identified the issue as TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) and given me some relief through manual therapy on my neck! It was far from over but I left the session feeling hopeful. I was assigned some at home movements and workouts over the next month or so and in combination with the twice weekly manual therapy work at Stretch Affect the symptoms of my TOS dramatically faded!! It was the first time in about 9 months that I had felt this freedom of my mind that was not dominated by my shoulder pain and discomfort. Now that my brain was less burdened from the TOS some other discomforts in my hips/knees arose and we started diving into those as well with light out home workouts and manual therapy from the Stretch Affect guys. Those issues have progressed and we have now gotten to the point where I am starting weight lifting again using the strength training programs developed for me by Stretch Affect and mixing in surfing and cycling for cardio. Outside of the progress made on my shoulder, hips and knees - I have a ton of fun every time I go into Stretch Affect because of the environment they have created which promotes a friendship independent of the work being done with both the Stretch Affect staff as well as other Stretch Affect clients. I look forward to my sessions there every week and look forward to continue the progression! Thank you!!!

My husband recommend I go to Stretch Affect for body alignment issues. Having one leg slightly shorter than the other was finally taking a toll on my body. My core, balance and overall strength was weak after having 3 kids. I met with Justin and he was kind and very knowledgeable. He explained how my body got to this point and what I needed to do to get back on track. After doing private sessions with him - which included stability and mobility work - he made a thorough home program for me. I am already starting to notice improvement in my strength and stability in my everyday life. I can honestly say the Stretch Affect team made me feel welcome and I cannot wait to go back and work my way up to a maintenance program!

I came to Stretch Affect in search of help to relieve pain caused by nerve impingement that affected every aspect of my life. Things like strength, mobility, functional movement, sleep and every day activities were all affected by this pain. I lead a pretty active lifestyle of working out, strength training, yoga, martial arts, golfing, and surfing, and I love doing these activities with my young son in addition to playing catch with a football, baseball and other activities. Additionally, I am a busy entrepreneur and business owner with a couple startup companies. When I say the pain and discomfort affected every aspect of my life, most of the aforementioned activities had to be put on hold until I was able to find someone who could properly diagnose or identify the root cause of my pain and discomfort, and then give me the therapies and treatment necessary to put me on the road to recovery and ultimately get me back to doing the things I love and enjoy. I am happy to say that the team at Stretch Affect was exactly what I needed. Specifically, Justin, Chris and Kyle took a collaborative approach to helping me get the relief I needed and put me on a plan to reducing and eventually eliminating my pain and helping me to live the life I enjoyed once again. Their facility is great, and they are a team of highly qualified professionals who really care for each person. They do not have a "one size fits all" approach when working with their clients, they actually get to the root of what is going on and then develop a program and therapies that is best and unique to you. I highly recommend Stretch Affect! - Billy Borja

Kyle, Justin, Nick and Chris are all amazing Physical Therapists at the top of their game. If you are looking for active release technique or sports massage this is your place. They've helped me increase my flexibility with manual therapy, heat, cold, you name it.

Performance Training

Performance training can only happen when we have achieved the prerequisites for each joint to function well enough for your movement requirements. No matter what your sport of choice is, sufficient strength and power are critical to overcome natural forces, like gravity, and prevent injury. When it comes to explosive sports these elements are even more important to dominate your competition.

We are expensive! Kind of… Expensive in the sense that other people may charge less but if you look at the value you receive from our diversified movement health practitioners, the quality-of-life improvements, we are not expensive but invaluable. And don’t you deserve the best quality of life you can have?

We take the best of physical therapy, personal training, and massage therapy and combine that into a single treatment session. Our mission is to provide you with a modern approach to movement health and fitness that provides better, long term results by instilling the tools and resources you need to be successful.

Every Strech Affect provider is a highly qualified movement health practitioner with the education and certifications to back it up. Choose the specialist that best fits your schedule.

The magic is all in the assessment. We dig deep, from your physical history to your future goals and everything in-between. We take the time to listen to you and formulate the best plan based on where you are and where you want to go. Remember the best chefs have access to the same food and same equipment as you and me, but it is how they prepare and put everything together that makes them special. Same for us! After the assessment you will work out a schedule that best fits your needs.

Our team loves education! We have two doctors of physical therapy, a master’s in exercise science, bachelor’s in nutrition bachelors in kinesiology. We have the best certifications in the industry: Active Release Techniques, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Titleist Performance Institute, Selective Functional Movement Analysis, Functional Range Assessment, Functional Range Release, Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, Neurokinetic Therapy, Stick Mobility, Onbase U hitting and pitching, Racquet Fit.

Anyone growth-minded and committed to the process. We work with executives, entrepreneurs, working moms and dads, weekend warriors, high-school athletes, and retirees. We have worked with everyone from a Forbes list billionaire, to one of the highest-paid athletes in sport, to a hard-working small service business owner. If you are looking to live better and are ready to value your body for the experiences it enables, then we are ready to get started.

Your first session is one hour. Follow-up appointments are typically 55-minutes but could vary depending on your individual needs on any given day.

Sessions are typically a combination of hands-on manual therapy to address any pain points and corrective or strength exercises. Show up with comfortable clothes and an open mind. We recommend athletic attire or something you can move freely in.

It depends. Based on your assessment, goals, and budget, a tailored program will be recommended. Many of our clients prefer a frequency-based 3-month long membership commitment, but we also offer a short-term and ad-hoc option. If you are in pain, our specialists will be able to provide a more specific recommendation catered to your needs. The more time you dedicate to doing at-home therapy, the quicker results will be realized.

At the end of your initial 3-month membership commitment, you can move between any of the membership levels as you see fit.

Your membership also includes access to the recovery suite which offers:

  • Infrared Sauna
  • Normatech Compression Devices
  • Venom heat and vibration wearables
  • Silent Mode, Muse
  • Core meditation training devices

We do not. We do not believe insurance companies should dictate the limits of your care. Although, many of our clients use their HSA (Health Spending Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) accounts to pay for our services

We respect your time, and we ask that you respect ours. Per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your session, we require 24 hours advance notice. If you cancel or reschedule your session within 24 hours, you will be charged for the session. But we are very reasonable and understand that life happens. We can offer virtual sessions in place of in-person sessions at any time, and of course you can send a family or friend to fill your spot.

No problem, for absences of 2 weeks or longer, with notice, we can pause your account.  When you return, you will pick up where you left off.

However, we allow sessions to be made up within the three-month period and encourage you to try and make time in your busy schedule for your own movement health, as we find members experience the greatest improvements with regular committed attendance.
