Breath

(How efficient?)
Breath is vital to our existence. But when done wrong, our system breaks down and we miss reaching our full potential.

mobility

(Does it move?)
The more mobility we have the more capacity we have to move freely.

stability

(Does it stay?)
Create a solid foundation of underlying stabilizing muscles that allow your body to accommodate larger, more powerful movements.

performance

(How clutch?)
Performance is the pinnacle of all of your training. When all of your hard work comes together and you execute to your full potential.

power

(How fast?)
Train for when speed and explosiveness are needed. Train for more than you need to achieve all that you want.

strength

(How much?)
The ability to overcome resistance is necessary for long-term success.

endurance

(How long?)
The ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity. This includes muscular, postural, and mental stamina.

recovery

(Ready for more?)
Rest and restoration are key to staying in the game and performing optimally.

Breath

(our gateway)
Breath is necessary task we do over 20,000 times per day. when done wrong, it can wreak havoc on your entire system. Diaphragmatic breathing is our goal; it gives you access to your fullest potential. This way, you are not leaving any performance on the table.

mobility

(does it move?)
joints need to move through their intended ranges of motion. the more mobility we have, the more capacity we have to move freely. Note: Mobility alone is not sufficient to change underlying movement dysfunction.

stability

(does it stay?)
once we gain the range, it's time to train the range. Utilizing both passive and active stabilizers, we train your body to control different postures and positions safely and effectively. This is how your body "locks-in" the new range and function . And how your body learns new movement patterns.

performance

(can you do it when it matters?)
Performance is the phase where most people want to live, either playing the sport of their choice or enjoying their favorite activity. This is the cumulation of all your previous training, the pinnacle of your journey.

power

(how fast?)
There are times in life when speed and explosiveness are needed. Underdeveloped power can limit the activities or sports you can participate in. Train for more than you need so you can achieve more than you want.

strength

(how much?)
The ability to overcome resistance is necessary for long-term success. Strength is not developed overnight; however, it requires time and effort.

endurance

(how long?)
Endurance refers to the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity, including muscular, postural and mental stamina. Some excel here, and others don't, but increasing your endurance is a vital step before moving onto functional strength training.

recovery

(are we ready for more?)
Recovery determines how prepared your body is to perform optimally. This includes sleep, hydration, nutrition, as well as active and passive methods of nervous system down-regulation, aka rest and restoration.

I didn't know what I was missing until I started working with Stretch Affect. Working with Stretch Affect has 100% changed my life and given me back confidence in myself.

Instead of looking at 1 part of the body they, as a team, looked at my whole body and noticed imbalances that needed corrected. We didn't just focus on the areas of pain but on the whole body as it's all interconnected. This is where they differ the most from traditional PT.

Physical Therapy + Personal Training = Stretch Affect

  • What is the cost of session? Why would I choose you over insurance ?

    PlusMinus
We are expensive! Kind of… Expensive in the sense that other people may charge less but if you look at the value you receive from our diversified movement health practitioners, the quality-of-life improvements, we are not expensive but invaluable. And don’t you deserve the best quality of life you can have?
We take the best of physical therapy, personal training, and massage therapy and combine that into a single treatment session. Our mission is to provide you with a modern approach to movement health and fitness that provides better, long term results by instilling the tools and resources you need to be successful.
  • What is the typical process for working with a new customer?

    PlusMinus
The magic is all in the assessment. We dig deep, from your physical history to your future goals and everything in-between. We take the time to listen to you and formulate the best plan based on where you are and where you want to go. Remember the best chefs have access to the same food and same equipment as you and me, but it is how they prepare and put everything together that makes them special. Same for us! After the assessment you will work out a schedule that best fits your needs.
  • What types of customers do you work with?

    PlusMinus
Anyone growth-minded and committed to the process. We work with executives, entrepreneurs, working moms and dads, weekend warriors, high-school athletes, and retirees. We have worked with everyone from a Forbes list billionaire, to one of the highest-paid athletes in sport, to a hard-working small service business owner. If you are looking to live better and are ready to value your body for the experiences it enables, then we are ready to get started.
  • How do I choose a specialist?

    PlusMinus
Every Stretch Affect provider is a highly qualified movement health practitioner with the education and certifications to back it up. Choose the specialist that best fits your schedule.
  • What education or training does the Stretch Affect team have?

    PlusMinus
Our team loves education! We have two doctors of physical therapy, a master’s in exercise science, bachelor’s in nutrition bachelors in kinesiology. We have the best certifications in the industry: Active Release Techniques, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Titleist Performance Institute, Selective Functional Movement Analysis, Functional Range Assessment, Functional Range Release, Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist, Neurokinetic Therapy, Stick Mobility, Onbase U hitting and pitching, Racquet Fit.
  • does Stretch Affect accept insurance?

    PlusMinus
We do not. We do not believe insurance companies should dictate the limits of your care. Although, many of our clients use their HSA (Health Spending Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) accounts to pay for our services
  • How long is a session?

    PlusMinus
Your first session is one hour. Follow-up appointments are typically 55-minutes but could vary depending on your individual needs on any given day.
  • What can I expect from a session?

    PlusMinus
Sessions are typically a combination of hands-on manual therapy to address any pain points and corrective or strength exercises. Show up with comfortable clothes and an open mind. We recommend athletic attire or something you can move freely in.
  • How many session will i need?

    PlusMinus
It depends. Based on your assessment, goals, and budget, a tailored program will be recommended. Many of our clients prefer a frequency-based 3-month long membership commitment, but we also offer a short-term and ad-hoc option. If you are in pain, our specialists will be able to provide a more specific recommendation catered to your needs. The more time you dedicate to doing at-home therapy, the quicker results will be realized.
  • how do stretch affect memberships work?

    PlusMinus
At the end of your initial 3-month membership commitment, you can move between any of the membership levels as you see fit.
Your membership also includes access to the recovery suite which offers:
    • Infrared Sauna
    • Normatech Compression Devices
    • Venom heat and vibration wearables
    • Silent Mode, Muse
    • Core meditation training devices
  • What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

    PlusMinus
We respect your time, and we ask that you respect ours. Per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your session, we require 24 hours advance notice. If you cancel or reschedule your session within 24 hours, you will be charged for the session. But we are very reasonable and understand that life happens. We can offer virtual sessions in place of in-person sessions at any time, and of course you can send a family or friend to fill your spot.
  • What if I can’t make several sessions? (AKA, I’ll be traveling, or got sick!)

    PlusMinus
No problem, for absences of 2 weeks or longer, with notice, we can pause your account.  When you return, you will pick up where you left off.
However, we allow sessions to be made up within the three-month period and encourage you to try and make time in your busy schedule for your own movement health, as we find members experience the greatest improvements with regular committed attendance.
